A Pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) VIP 34 Squadron Transport Bizjets Pop into CQ Airports - PM Morrison in Town!

On Wednesday 23 March, there was a nice pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) VIP 34 Squadron aircraft that were spotted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-002 was on the ground at Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to arrive from Townsville, after arriving there from Brisbane and Cairns the previous day.

A36-002 was noted carrying Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, with 'ScoMo' later boarded the RAAF BBJ and departed Rockhampton Airport for Melbourne (Tullamarine).  Of interest, A36-002 was heard to be flying as "Envoy 15".

Of further interest, fellow RAAF B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 also visited Cairns but from Canberra, arriving on Tuesday 22 March and departing on Wednesday 23 March.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 23 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-002 arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Canberra before then continuing to Emerald Airport where it looked to be spending the night parked.  It was heard to be flying as "Envoy 26".

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 March, A56-002 "Envoy 26" departed Emerald Airport for Brisbane, Tamworth and Canberra.

Sincere thanks to the local plane spotters for taking the time to capture and send through these great phots!
