A36-001 was flying as "Envoy 43" and departed Canberra for Coffs Harbour before it then landed at Bundaberg Airport. It then continued up to land at Hamilton Island Airport before departing there to Cairns for a missed approach and then landing at Townsville (pictured) for the night.
It is assumed that A36-001 will fly back South - possibly via Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Rockhampton Airports - on Wednesday 9 March, as these training flights have done in the past.
UPDATE! On Wednesday 9 March, and indeed as predicted, A36-001 "Envoy 43" flew South from Townsville and landed at Proserpine Airport before departing and doing airwork and then landing at Rockhampton Airport. It continued back to Canberra then via the Gold Coast.
Meanwhile, also Tuesday 8 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-007 as "Wallaby 04" flew up from RAAF Base Amberley to a position off the East coast of Fraser Island and then to complete airwork at Bundaberg Airport before then returning back to Amberley.

And Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-208 "Stallion 15" was also noted completing airwork including a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport. It had earlier flown East from Amberley to meet up with RAAF Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-005 "Gasser 65".
And Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-208 "Stallion 15" was also noted completing airwork including a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport. It had earlier flown East from Amberley to meet up with RAAF Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-005 "Gasser 65".
After completing the airwork at Bundaberg Airport, the C-17 returned to Amberley at low level and no radio communication ('no-com').
Finally, also on Tuesday 8 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-426 as "Ausy 102" landed at Longreach Airport from RAAF Base East Sale in Victoria. It must've encountered a technical problem as it stayed and fellow RAAF Super King Air A32-651 "Hudson 05" was noted arriving after dark also into Longreach Airport also from East Sale.
UPDATE! On Wednesday 9 March, A32-426 "Ausy 102" departed Longreach Airport for Darwin, while A32-651 "Hudson 05" departed back to East Sale.
