Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan Transport Aircraft A34-001 "Kaos 74" Completes Airwork at Roma and Rockhampton Airports

On Monday 28 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-001 was noted and spotted completing airwork at a couple of Central Queensland Airports.

It was noted to be flying as "Kaos74" and looked to fly up from RAAF Base Amberley and complete airwork at Rom Airport before then flying up to Rockhampton Airport where it was spotted (above) completing more airwork before it eventually landed.

A little while later, the Spartan then departed Rockhampton Airport and departed to overhead Mackay and then more airwork at Hughenden Airport before it then continued up to Cairns.

As shown A34-001 still wears additional decals to commemorate the RAAF's 100th anniversary.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Scott H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
