Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-UQN First Closed Charter Flight of the Rugby League Season Comes to Rockhampton Airport

On Saturday 12 March, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 jet VH-UQN was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns as UTY3381.

It appears to have brought the players and staff of several of the Northern Pride rugby league teams to take on the local Central Queensland (CQ) Capras rugby league teams in some junior competition and senior trial games.

VH-UQN later departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Cairns but as UTY3382.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 12 March, fellow Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-UQF was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport on a closed charter flight from Brisbane as UTY3388. 

After staying for the night, on Sunday 13 March, VH-UQF then departed Hamo and returned to Brisbane as UTY3389.
