Not to be outdone! We've also received some photos that Tash C took on Tuesday 14 May of some of the goings-on at Gladstone Airport. We thank Tash for taking these wonderful photos - and thank Jamie C for sending them through!
A lovely scenic photo of QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 VH-NXO as it taxiied for departure from Gladstone to Brisbane as QJE1957.
QantasLink's specially painted Breast Cancer Awareness Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOH was also photographed by Tash as it made a spectacular departure of Gladstone Airport's Runway 28 bound for Rockhampton as QLK2300.
Meanwhile, QantasLink Dash-8-Q300 VH-SBW was also captured as it departed on the final leg of the QLK2301 flight from Cairns to Brisbane, via Townsville, Rockhampton and Gladstone.
Locally-based Eurocopter EC135 P2 helicopter VH-ZGZ was captured by Tash as it made a spectacular departure from Gladstone Airport for parts unknown.
Also Ultralight Jabiru J-170 24-5229 was photographed as it taxiied for departure, again for parts unknown.
Lastly, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon 1900D VH-PSK was captured by Tash as it taxiied for departure to Brisbane on Monday 13 May.
