Beef Australia 2021 (Beef Week) Arrivals and Visitors to Rockhampton Airport on Monday incl RAAF B737 BBJ A36-001 “Envoy 47” - Updated with More Photos!

As Beef Australia 2021 (Beef Week) hit full swing in Rockhampton with 'people's day', some more nice bizjets and light General Aviation (GA) aircraft arrived or visited Rockhampton Airport on Monday 3 May, including Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on board a RAAF private jet.

Vanderfield Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH arrived from its Toowoomba base and parked on the crowded Northern hardstand.

Hawker Beechcraft B200GT Super King Air 250 VH-JHP arrived from its Toowoomba base and also parked on the hardstand.  Some time later, it departed back to Toowoomba.

After arriving the previous day from Brisbane, Gulf Aircraft Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-PYO departed to Marble Island then returned and then departed to Brisbane.

Cloncurry-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH arrived from Archerfield and also parked on the hardstand.

Edwards Coaches (Armidale) Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-CSK arrived from Armidale and Warwick before then departed to Gladstone Airport.

Whitney Pastoral Co Cessna 206 VH-WPC arrived from Coombing Park Cattle Station at Carcoar, southwest of Bathurst via Moree.

Also after arriving the previous day, Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ departed to Archerfield and Bankstown.

Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA arrived from Archerfield and Moree then departed to Toowoomba.

BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation Cessna 441 Conquest II VH-EQU arrived from Tamworth, Gunnedah and Casino.

Cessna 182 VH-DGS arrived from its Dalby base.

Muirhead Pastoral Co Cessna 182 VH-WTO arrived from Collinsville.

North Australian Pastoral Co Cessna 182 VH-WLQ arrived from Coolullah Station, North of Cloncurry.

While possibly not for Beef Week, but Raytheon A36 Bonanza VH-YGM arrived from its Orange base in New South Wales.

Finally, the star arrival on Monday 3 May was no doubt Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 "Envoy 47" which touched down in the late afternoon from Canberra via Sydney.  The BBJ brought Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison (and others) to the beef capital for an evening event.

A36-001 later departed to Brisbane but the tech crew were heard to say that they would be back on Tuesday 4 May.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Trevor H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos of a very busy Rockhampton Airport!
