Many Corporate and Other Bizjets In and Out of Central Queensland Airports - Plus More!

On Wednesday 4 May, there were several corporate and other bizjets that were noted visiting several Central Queensland Airports.

Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-OLJ made an early morning visit to Rockhampton Airport from and back to Brisbane.

GBJ Nominees (Navair Flight Operations) Textron (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-IEQ visited Blackall Airport from Bankstown and Archerfield.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ looked to visit Mackay Airport once again from Maitland. 

Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY visited Hamilton Island Airport from its Sunshine Coast base. 

Fellow McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY called into Charleville and Blackall Airports.  It looked to arrive at these places from Melbourne (Essendon), Thargamindah and Cunnamulla over the previous couple of days.  Later, VH-PIY departed to Toowoomba-Wellcamp. 

And Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY departed its Sunshine Coast base for the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site, before then flying across to Rockhampton Airport.  It then returned to the Sunshine Coast.

Meanwhile, other lighties around the region, also on Wednesday 4 May, included Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON which landed at Truganinnie from Toowoomba before then departing to Archerfield. 

While Tex Onsite (Tex Assets P/L) Aero Commander 500-U VH-TXE arrived back into Rockhampton Airport from Tennant Creek, Mount Isa and Longreach Airports.  It flown out of Rocky on Monday 2 May.

And RDO Equipment Co. (ex Vanderfield) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH flew up from Toowoomba and Dalby to Roma, Emerald and then Longreach Airports.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 5 May, VH-WPH departed Longreach Airport for Roma Airport and then back to Toowoomba.

Finally, also on Wednesday 4 May, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQC departed Rockhampton Airport for Labona as SKP779 before then flying to Mackay Airport as SKP792.  VH-QQC then completed another run to Labona and back to Mackay Airport.

Fellow Skytrans Dash-8 VH-QQI arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville, Mackay and Labona Airports as SKP782 before it then departed to Cairns as SKP782. 

And Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ visited Mackay Airport, arriving from and later departing back to Brisbane as SFZ667/8.  This appears to be a 'new' weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.
