Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 Calls Into Rockhampton Airport Monday

Touching down at Rockhampton Airport during the morning of Monday 5 August was Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210.

The C-17 arrived into the beef city from Amberley Air Force Base near Brisbane as “Stallion 13”, and after loading, it departed for Darwin using the same radio callsign.

As shown above in the photos from local plane spotter Travis W, it was a busy Rockhampton Airport apron on Monday 5 August with the unserviceable United States Air Force (USAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 90-0053 still parked on the Southern end of the apron, and also a United States Navy (USN) Lockheed C-130T Hercules 165314 parked on the Northern end of the apron too.

Thanks Travis for the great photos!
