As we prepared the previous post about the QantasLink diversion to Gladstone Airport, late on Wednesday 2 November, Virgin Australia passengers heading to Rockhampton Airport also faced disruptions with the evening VOZ1249 flight from Brisbane cancelled.

As a result, Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VOO diverted into Rockhampton Airport while operating as VOZ381 from Brisbane to Townsville to accommodate the stranded passengers as a result of the flight cancellation.
