A QantasLink Dash-8 and More Alliance Airlines Fokker Jet Charter Flights Carry Interstate Firefighters in and out of CQ Airports

On Sunday 2 December, there were more charter flights in and out of Central Queensland Airports presumably transporting interstate firefighters in and out of the fire-zones.

Early on Sunday, QantasLink Dash-8-Q300 VH-TQZ was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport.  It arrived from Armidale in New South Wales as QLK2294 before departing to Sydney as QLK2711.

Later, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-XWR was noted visiting Bundaberg Airport.  It arrived from Sydney and RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle as UTY562.  VH-XWR later returned to Williamtown and Sydney as UTY563.

While fellow Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQX was also noted visiting Bundaberg Airport.  It arrived from Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour in New South Wales as UTY566.  VH-QQX later returned to Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie as UTY567.

Finally, late on Sunday 2 December, a nice corporate turboprop in the form of Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD was noted arriving into Mackay Airport from its Toowoomba base via Archerfield.  It later departed to Gladstone Airport before returning to Archerfield.
