Royal Australian Navy (RAN) NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-022 Pops into Rockhampton Airport as "Midnight"

A nice surprise visitor into Rockhampton Airport on Saturday 15 June with Royal Australian Navy (RAN) NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-022 touching down from the South-East (presumably off an RAN ship) as "Midnight".

After taking on fuel, A40-022 departed to Townsville.

This is the first time we've heard the radio callsign "Midnight" and research reveals it to be of the Navy's 808 Squadron which is based at HMAS Albatross at\ Nowra in New South Wales.
