AirServices Australia / Pearl Aviation Super King Air VH-FIY "Auscal 03" Pops into Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 5 June, AirServices Australia / Pearl Aviation Hawker Beechcraft B300 Super King Air VH-FIY was noted passing through Longreach Airport.  It arrived from Brisbane.

VH-FIY was originally due to fly from Brisbane to Mount Isa but diverted to Longreach Airport.  After taking on fuel, it departed to RAAF Base Tindal at Katherine in the Northern Territory.

VH-FIY was heard to be using its usual radio callsign of "Auscal 03".

UPDATE!  VH-FIY didn't stay at Tindal for long - it returned direct to Brisbane on Thursday 6 June.

Meanwhile, another Super King Air noted also visiting Longreach Airport also on Wednesday 5 June was Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 A32-671 which looked to visit from Brisbane.  It was noted using the radio callsign of "Beaufort 11".

Finally, also noted around Longreach Airport also on Wednesday 5 June was Neabrean P/L Cessna 208B Caravan VH-JOZ.
