United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lockheed KC-130J Hercules 168074 "Sumo 90" Pops into Rockhampton Airport

Around dusk, and in the pouring rain, on Wednesday 26 June, United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lockheed KC-130J Hercules 168074 (Tail Code QD-8074) of the Marine Aerial Refueller Transport Squadron 152 (VMGR-152) was also spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport.

It looked to arrive from Darwin and then later depart to RAAF Base Amberley.

The visit of the Herc capped off a great day and night of military helicopter and aircraft plane spotting at and around Rockhampton Airport as the build-up to joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19) continued.
