It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Saxon 44" and looked to fly up from and later return to the Oakey Army Aviation Centre.
"Saxon" is the radio callsign of the School of Army Aviation at Oakey.
Meanwhile, it's worth mentioning that Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-439 was again noted completing and aerial survey flight in the area. Again it was flying as "Beaufort 01" and again it completed airwork around Rockhampton before also flying around Gladstone.
After a refuelling stop at Rockhampton Airport, A32-439 returned to Townsville where it had earlier started the day.
