After taking on fuel, VH-KXM then departed to Dorunda (Maramie). It was due to continue to Cairns but diverted to Townsville. VH-KXM was then able to get into Cairns after dark.
Meanwhile, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" was also noted visiting Longreach Airport during a busy afternoon also on Friday 21 June. It arrived from Brisbane and then departed to the Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport. VH-URR then continued to Sydney before returning to Brisbane.
One other visitor to Longreach Airport also on Friday 21 June was Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM. It arrived from Cairns and Lizard Island and later flew on to Wagga Wagga.
VH-PVM had flown North to Lizard Island and Cairns via Roma Airport last Sunday 16 June.
Finally, up at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport, also on Friday 21 June, Graham Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-FNI was noted arriving from its Cairns base. It appears to be staying for at least the night.
UPDATE! VH-FNI returned to Cairns from Prosie on Sunday 23 June.
