Tiger Airways Adds New Wednesday Flight to Mackay Airport From Sydney

It's been announced this week that Tiger Airways will be revising flight times, and also adding a new Wednesday service between Mackay and Sydney from early February, in order to meet the demand from the resources sector.

From Friday 1 February, the TGW386 service from Sydney will touch down in Mackay at 12.15pm, with the return TGW387 service departing at 12.45pm - although this is very much subject to change. Flights will operate Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

The airline has also been reportedly working with transfer operator Whitsundays 2 Everywhere to promote seamless transfers for Tiger travellers between Mackay Airport and Airlie Beach, in line with the airline's schedule.
