VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452" then departed Townsville and called into Longreach Airport before it later returned to Brisbane.
Meanwhile, it's worth noting that the sister-ship to VH-CXJ, fellow LifeFlight LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI looked to also call into Rockhampton Airport but on Wednesday 27 November. Rather than using its 'usual' medical evacuation callsign of "Ambulance 451", it was heard to be using its registration marking as its radio callsign so is presumed it was on a training flight. VH-VVI arrived from Brisbane and departed Rocky for Townsville.
Finally, Mackay-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was noted completing a flight from Mackay Airport to Brisbane and back over the course of Wednesday 27 November and Thursday 28 November.
