Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-005 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

On Tuesday 28 January, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-005 was spotted on approach to Rockhampton Airport.

It then completed a missed approach and low overshoot and was photographed climbing out.

The KC-30A flew North from RAAF Base Amberley and also completed a missed approach at Townsville before flying back to Amberley via a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.  A39-005 was noted flying as "Dragon 22".
