Friday 31 January, Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopter A15-309 was noted passing through Rockhampton Airport while heading North back to its Townsville base.

A15-309 was heard to be flying as "Brahman 39".
A15-309 was one of several Chinooks of the Army's 5th Aviation Regiment (C Squadron) based at Townsville that were committed to Southern parts of Australia to provide support during the bushfire emergency.
