It appears to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 14 January, VH-EXG departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Essendon.

While Homada Pty Ltd Cessna 560XL Citation XLS bizjet VH-XCU finally departed Hamilton Island Airport and flew to Melbourne (Essendon) before continuing to Melbourne (Moorabbin).  It had flown into Hamo from there last Saturday 2 January.

And Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY also visited Hamilton Island Airport, flying from Moorabbin via Essendon and Roma Airports.  It later returned directly to Moorabbin.

Meanwhile, on the mainland at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport, also on Sunday 10 January, the visiting SG Aviation Australia / Business Aviation Solutions Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS VH-SGA departed to Cairns before flying back and landing at Hamilton Island Airport for short time.  It then departed Hamo for the Sunshine Coast.

VH-SGA had arrived on New Year's Day.

While Avia Aviation (Victoria) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-MSU popped up to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Mackay Airport after arriving there on Saturday 9 January - see Blog post below.

A slightly smaller visitor to Proserpine Airport also on Sunday 10 January was Piper PA-31-350 VH-AUG which appeared to visit from its Cairns base.

And further down at Rockhampton Airport, Raytheon A36 Bonanza VH-YGM arrived from its Orange base.

Finally, also on Sunday 10 January, Gandel Investments (The Gandel Group) Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Global 7500 bizjet VH-TGG was due to call into Hamilton Island Airport from Melbourne (Essendon) and the Sunshine Coast.  It struck bad weather and was forced to divert Townsville.  Sadly, it then returned to Essendon from Townsville.
