Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

On Friday 14 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 was spotted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.  It had flown up from RAAF Base Amberley and was noted using the radio callsign of "Stallion 56.

From Rocky, the big RAAF transport aircraft was then noted completing airwork around Emerald before returning to Amberley.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter 'IAD' who was at the right place at the right time and kindly shares these great photos of the Globemaster!
