Vanguard Aviation Cessna 525 CitationJet1 Bizjet VH-DAA Pops into Rockhampton Airport - Plus a Couple of Lighties!

On Friday 7 October, Vanguard Aviation Cessna 525 CitationJet1 bizjet VH-DAA was noted arriving at Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.  It spend most of the day parked on the General Aviation (GA) Apron and departed back to Archerfield during the late afternoon.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 8 October, VH-DAA was noted visiting Maryborough Airport, again arriving from and later departing back to Archerfield.

Meanwhile, as this post is being written, late on Friday 7 October, LifeFlight (ex Careflight Queensland) (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" has just landed at Rockhampton from Brisbane.  It looks to be completing yet another med-evac flight to CQ and is scheduled to depart back to Brisbane a little later in the night.

UPDATE!  In fact, I've just noticed that once VH-VVI completes the flight from Rockhampton Airport to Brisbane it is scheduled to turn around and complete another (presumably) med-evac flight to CQ this time to Emerald Airport and back to Brisbane in the wee small hours of Saturday 8 October.

Finally, a couple of noteworthy light General Aviation (GA) aircraft to call into Rockhampton Airport over the last couple of days included NQ Heli-Worx Aerospatiale AS 350 B2 Squirrel helicopter VH-MHE which arrived from the South on Friday 7 October.  It later departed to Townsville.

While on Thursday 6 October, Torres Strait Air Cessna U206G VH-UBP arrived at Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield for fuel.

It later departed to Mackay Airport and further North.
