And Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Airbus A320 VH-VNQ Has Left Australia For Good

Also interesting to note that in February this year, Tigerair (Tiger Airways) Airbus A320 VH-VNQ departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) for The Philippines, reportedly for planned maintenance, but on what turned out to its ferry flight out of Australia.

VH-VNQ completed its final flight for the airline on Wednesday 31 January and made its final visit to Central Queensland at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport two days previous on Monday 29 January when it operated the TGW394/397 service from and back to Sydney.

Of interest, VH-VNQ was delivered new from Airbus to Tiger Airways Australia in August 2012.
The aircraft was named 'Sarah'.

While in The Philippines, VH-VNQ was noted stored from February until April when it was prepared for and delivered to Indian operator IndiGo as VT-IHR.

UPDATE!  VH-VNQ was cancelled from the Australian register and entered the Indian register as planned as VT-IHR in late April.  It has since been delivered to Indigo Airlines in Dehli, India and is pictured below.
