Well, we were wrong! Raytheon 390 Premier 1 bizjet N7088S has returned to its Mackay Airport home after heading to Bankstown in late March for maintenance.
There was speculation that N7088S may have graced Mackay skies for the final time with it reportedly also being up for sale, however, on Friday 3 April, the smart little bizjet touched down at Mackay Airport directly from Bankstown following its planned maintenance.
On Friday 24 April, N7088S then popped up to Townsville Airport where it was captured on finals by local plane spotter 'Shinpow16'.
The operator of the N7088S has recently taken delivery of the new Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ. Local plane spotter 'AC' captured these stunning atmospheric night-time photos during a recent trip to Mackay Airport.
N142GZ - which remains parked outside a construction zone where its new hangar is being built on the Western side of Mackay Airport - recently returned home following a sales demonstration tour to South-East Asia for Embraer.
