Aerorescue Dornier VH-PPQ & CareFlight LearJet VH-CXJ Through Longreach Airport Friday

A busy week at Longreach Airport continued on Friday 19 September with Aerorescue (AMSA - Australian Maritime Safety Authority) Dornier 328-100 VH-PPQ calling in during the afternoon.  It arrived from Brisbane - where it had completed maintenance - and later departed to Darwin.

A little later, Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-VVI was also noted calling into Longreach as "Ambulance 451".  It arrived from Townsville and departed to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, a little earlier on Friday 19 September,  McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-WJK called in briefly from parts unknown.

Finally, late on Thursday 18 September, Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRZ departed back to Townsville as RXA9904.  It had arrived earlier in the week, and as shown below, spent most of the week parked on the Longreach Airport apron receiving attention after becoming unserviceable.
