Local plane spotters Kayanne H and Trevor H both popped out to Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 16 September for some plane spotting and manage to capture a couple of great photos of the visiting Mitchell Air / Australian Corporate Jet Centres' Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-EXQ.
The Citation touched down from Melbourne (Essendon) Airport and later departed to Newcastle / Williamtown Airport and then returned to Essendon.
Also spotted by Kayanne and Trevor on Tuesday 16 September was locally-operated Bell 206B helicopter VH-CLV.
They really couldn't miss spotting the Bell - which is actually owned by Jayrow Helicopters - as it landed right in front of their spotting point near to the Rockhampton Aero Club on the General Aviation (GA) side of Rocky Airport.
Finally, Trevor captured a couple of photos of the visiting Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) helicopters which have taken up residence either side of Runway 04/22 at Rockhampton Airport. Reports suggest that some of the RSAF Boeing AH-64D Apache and Boeing CH-47SD Chinook helicopters have been carrying out test-flights around Rocky over the last couple of days in preparation for the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby.
Sincere thanks to Kayanne and Trevor for capturing these great photos and for sending them through!
