Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) Choppers Ferry North and South

It's been a busy week or so for Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) / Queensland Government (State of Queensland) helicopters with a pair of the rescue choppers ferrying North and one ferrying South for maintenance.

As mentioned below, EMQ Bell 412 VH-ESD ventured North from Archerfield to Townsville via Gladstone and Mackay last Wednesday 27 August.

This week on Tuesday 2 September, Agusta AW139 VH-ESZ also ferried North from Archerfield but with Cairns as its final destination.  VH-ESZ was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.  It later departed to Townsville and then Cairns.

Then on Wednesday 3 September, fellow EMQ Agusta AW139 VH-EZJ ferried South from Cairns to Archerfield.  It too called into Rockhampton Airport.  It later departed to Archerfield where planned maintenance will be carried out.
