Last Saturday 6 September, VH-CXJ - callsign "Ambulance 452" - operated a return flight from Brisbane to Emerald - arriving in the wee-small hours and departing mid-morning,  Then on Sunday 7 September, VH-CXJ flew into Mackay Airport from Brisbane, again in the morning darkness, returning to Brisbane before the sun had risen.

In the days after, VH-CXJ was then tasked to fly overseas to Honiara and Nauru.  Then late on Thursday 11 September, VH-CXJ flew from Brisbane and touched down at Barcaldine.  It then positioned to Rockhampton, touching down in the early hours of Friday 12 September.  VH-CXJ then departed Rocky for Hervey Bay and later Brisbane.

Certainly a busy week - and certainly a valuable community service.
