More Bizjets and Light Aircraft Touch Down at Hamilton Island Airport This Weekend

The two American bizjets to touch down at Hamilton Island Airport during the week -  Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (G550) N45JE and Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express N51SE - were joined by a couple of interesting Australian-based bizjets and other light aircraft over the course of the weekend.

Two bizjets called in on Sunday 21 September with Silver Linings Aviation Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign VH-ZEK calling in from Bankstown, and shortly after, Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B VH-LMP touching down from Melbourne (Essendon) Airport.  It later departed to Townsville.

Also on Sunday, New South Wales-based Cessna 510 Citation Mustang VH-KJG departed to Bankstown after spending just over a week on Hamo.  It arrived on Hamilton Island from Bankstown last Saturday 13 September.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 20 September, at least four interesting light aircraft visited Hamilton Island with Cirrus SR20 VH-SRA, Hawker Beechcraft G58 VH-EZD, Cloncurry-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH and Bathurst-based Beech A36 Bonanza VH-YLL all calling in.

Information suggests that most of these aircraft remain parked at Hamo.
