And Preparations for the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2014 Continue at Rockhampton Airport

While he was at Rockhampton Airport on Thursday 11 September, local plane spotter 'IAD' also captured some images of the visiting Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Boeing CH-47SD Chinook and Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopters being 'put-back-together' following their uplift to Rocky earlier this week.

The two Chinooks - 88195 and 88197 - are slowly having their blades applied with 88197 looking almost ready to fly.

The Apaches are also slow having their blades replaces, with the majority of the five attack choppers also looking like they are ready to take to the sky.

It is still expected that the Chinooks and Apaches will be joined at Rocky Airport on Saturday 13 September by the Oakey-based RSAF Eurocopter / Aerospatiale AS332M Super Puma helicopters.

Stay tuned to the CQ Plane Spotting Blog for the latest news and photos from Rocky Airport!

Sincere thanks to 'IAD' for sending through these great photos!
