Kennedy Aviation (Kennedy Air Services) North American Rockwell 500S VH-XAS "Birddog 444" Operating Bushfire Surveys Around CQ

Over the course of this week, it has been interesting to note that Kennedy Aviation (Kennedy Air Services) of Gunnedah in New South Wales, North American Rockwell 500S VH-XAS has been completing aerial bushfire survey flights around the region as "Birddog 444".

On Wednesday 14 November, it was noted operating from Gladstone Airport in the local area.

On Thursday 15 November, VH-XAS flew up from Gladstone to a position North of Rockhampton before returning to land at Gladstone Airport.  It later returned to Toowoomba.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 17 November, R-Mach Aviation Cessna 337G VH-JOE as "Birddog 410" was noted flying out of Gladstone Airport to Sarina, South of Mackay while also on a aerial bushfire survey flight.  It later returned to Gladstone Airport.
