A Couple of Bizjets and Corporate Lighties Around CQ Airports

Over the last couple of days, there has been some nice corporate light General Aviation (GA) and bizjet aircraft noted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports.

During the afternoon on Monday 12 November, LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" was noted calling into Mackay Airport from Brisbane.  After some time on the ground, it returned to the capital, presumably completing a medical evacuation flight.

Also arriving into Mackay Airport during the afternoon also on Monday 12 November was Henty Aviation / Avcair Cessna 425 VH-BSM.  It looked to arrive from Archerfield and Rockhampton Airport.  It was noted departing to Cairns and then Townsville early on Tuesday 13 November.

Earlier back on Monday 12 November, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU was noted calling into Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane.  It then departed to Townsville and Cairns.  Then on Tuesday 13 November, VH-PSU flew from Cairns to Townsville and back to Bundaberg Airport.  It then flew into Rockhampton Airport before returning North to Townsville to Cairns.

Meanwhile, fellow Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK has been back opreating up and down the Queensland coast and calling into CQ Airports.  It was noted also visiting Rockhampton and Bundaberg Airports on Monday 12 November and Tuesday 13 November.

Also at Bundaberg Airport, also on Monday 12 November, Piper PA-31-350 VH-MJA visited from its Toowoomba base via the Ballina/Byron Bay Gateway Airport.  While (often) locally-based Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron N298WA departed Bundy for the Gold Coast.

Finally, also on Tuesday 13 November, Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from its Toowoomba base via Maryborough Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 14 November, VH-PID departed Rockhampton Airport for Gladstone Airport before returning to Toowoomba.
