RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan A34-009 "Wallaby 47" Pops into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport

Interesting to note that on Sunday 23 September, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-009 was noted visiting Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport as "Wallaby 47".  Its exact movements are not fully known.

As we reported below, late on Thursday 20 September, fellow RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-010 was involved in a smoke emergency as it approached Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.

During a lunch-time visit on Sunday 23 September, it appeared that A34-010 had departed Prosie and presumably flew back to Townsville where it has been spotted operating over the last week or so.

Meanwhile, on Friday 21 September, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-437 was noted also visiting Proserpine Airport flying from and back to Townsville.
