On Thursday 18 March, LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA looked to call into Gladstone Airport. It appears to have flown in directly from Archerfield and was heard using its now familiar radio callsign of "Guardian 10".

After spending some time on the ground, VH-XIA "Guardian 10" departed Gladstone Airport and returned to the Archerfield.
UPDATE! On Friday 19 March, VH-XIA "Guardian 10" was back in the region, noted flying out of Archerfield and calling into Chinchilla Aerodrome. It then flew South towards Toowoomba before returning to Chinchilla. During the afternoon, it then flew up from Chinchilla Aerodrome to Gladstone Airport before later returning to Archerfield, again via Chinchilla and Toowoomba.
VH-XIA is one of the 'newest' rescue helicopter to join the LifeFlight fleet with the AW139 registered to them in May last year. It previously operated as a Search and Rescue helicopter in the united Kingdom as G-CILP with Her Majesty's Coastguard.
