Stunning Photos of Australia by Seaplane De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver Mk1 VH-IDO at Gladstone Airport - Including a Look at the Cockpit!

In October 2013, we featured some stunning photos by Gladstone plane spotters Jamie C and Tash C of the Australia by Seaplane De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver Mk1 Floatplane VH-IDO shortly after the 1964-built aircraft has been delivered to Gladstone.

Well recently, Jamie was fortunate enough to have his camera taken inside the classic old aircraft and few photos of the flightdeck were taken by the Australia by Seaplane crew.

Presenetly, the immaculately presented DHC-2 Beaver VH-IDO operates passenger transfer flights to nearby Heron Island from Gladstone Airport, however it can be chartered to operate scenic flights of nearby Lake Awoonga, Gladstone Harbour, Boyne Island / Tannum Sands, Mt Larcom as well as Curtis Island and / or Facing Island. Extended scenic flights can include Great Keppel Island or 1770 / Agnes Waters.  The Australia By Seaplane website also promotes passenger transfers from land-based airports such as Gladstone Airport and Rockhampton Airport.  Interested customers can even design their own exclusive air adventure.

For more information or make a booking, Australia By Seaplane can be contacted on (07) 4972 1940 or 0432 328 813.
