Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-209 Missed Approach at Bundaberg Airport

On Friday 1 February, local plane spotter Isaac S was at the right place at the right time to capture a couple of quick photos as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-209 completed a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport.

The Globemaster had flown up from RAAF Base Amberley and after completing the missed approach, continued North at low level towards Gladstone before heading inland and completing airwork around Thangool and Gayndah.

A41-209 then returned to Amberley.  It was heard using the radio callsign of "Stallion 27" during its flight.

Thanks Isaac!
