Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan A34-008 and Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 Both Complete Nighttime Airwork at Rockhampton Airport Too!

After dark on Tuesday 13 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-008 "Wallaby 22" appeared to fly into Rockhampton Airport from the North where it then completed two touch-and-go approaches.

The Spartan then departed to RAAF Base Amberley where it appeared to have departed from earlier in the day.

Soon after the Spartan had departed the area, then fellow RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 "Stallion 26" also appeared to fly up from Amberley to Rockhampton Airport where it was noted completing a missed approach.  The Globemaster then returned to Amberley.
