Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-NDC & Mackellar Mining Cessna 560 Citation Ultra Bizjet VH-MMC Both Call into Clermont Aerodrome - Plus Much More!

On Wednesday 14 April, my local Clermont Aerodrome played host to a couple of nice and familiar visitors.

Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC landed at Clermont Aerodrome from the Sunshine Coast.  It then flew across to Rockhampton Airport before then heading to Emerald Airport where it looked to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 15 April, VH-MMC flew back up to Clermont Aerodrome before it then flew down to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 VH-NDC was noted visiting Clermont Aerodrome, arriving from Rockhampton Airport as HND610.  It then flew up to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site before flying back to Rockhampton Airport as HND611/2.

Of interest, VH-NDC had earlier flown into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns as HND615.  While fellow Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-HLL departed Rockhampton Airport for Cairns also as HND615.

And Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM flew into Clermont Aerodrome from its Gayndah base before later departing to Nebo Aerodrome.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 15 April, departed Nebo Aerodrome for Rockhampton and Biloela / Thangool Airports before then returning to Gayndah Airport.

Meanwhile, a couple of other nice corporate bizjets noted around Central Queensland Airports, also on Wednesday 14 April, included Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY which flew into Bundaberg Airport from Archerfield.  It then returned there via the Sunshine Coast.

And Linfox Global Charter / Air National Australia Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global 6000 bizjet VH-LEP visited Hamilton Island Airport from its Melbourne (Essendon) base. 

Finally, also on Wednesday 14 April, some of the light General Aviation (GA) visitors of note included Cloncurry-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH which had arrived into Kierawonga Station near Marlborough the previous day, departed there for its Devoncourt 'home'. 

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD landed at Truganinnie from Toowoomba and Archerfield before it later returned to its Toowoomba base.

Raytheon 58 Baron VH-EZR popped into Cloncurry and Longreach Airports while on a flight out of and back to its Chinchilla base.

New South Wales-based Raytheon A36 Bonanza VH-YGM departed Rockhampton Airport for Toowoomba and Orange.  It had arrived into Rocky from Orange two days earlier and yesterday, it completed a flight out of and back to Rocky.

Vanderfield Cessna 210N VH-JSC departed Mackay Airport for Biloela / Thangool Airport after arriving in the sugar city on Tuesday 13 April from Toowoomba.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 15 April, VH-JSC departed Biloela / Thangool Airport for Emerald Airport before heading 'home' to Toowoomba.

BK Hire (Toowoomba) Piper PA-31-350 Navajo VH-TTX arrived into Emerald Airport from Toowoomba before it then flew up to Collinsville Aerodrome.  VH-TTX later returned to Emerald and then Toowoomba Airports.

Colville Aviation Services (Torres Strait Air) Britten-Norman BN-2B-20 Islander VH-BNC looked to arrive into Emerald Airport from Watts Bridge where it has been undergoing planned maintenance.  It then departed to Townsville.

And Beech 58 Baron VH-CLE visited both Emerald and Capella Airports from its Toowoomba base.
