Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 Returns to Rockhampton Airport

On Saturday 17 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-210 returned to Rockhampton Airport touching down from Townsville again as "Stallion 53".

On this occasion, it remained parked on Taxiway Juliette at Rocky due the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules NZ7005 being parked on the Rockhampton Airport apron - Blog post with many photos coming soon!

The RAAF Globemaster looked to complete crew change before it then departed to RAAF Base Amberley.

Sincere thanks yet again to local plane spotter 'IAD' for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!  He was one of many that ventured to Rockhampton Airport to catch a glimpse of these two great visitors to the beef capital!
