The State Election Campaign Brings Fly Corporate (Corporate Air) SAAB 340B VH-VEP to Emerald Airport

On Friday 17 November, leader of the Liberal National Party of Queensland Tim Nicholls came to both Charleville and Emerald Airports as he hit the hustings in two key parliamentary seats in the forthcoming Queensland State Election.

It is believed that he travelled on board Fly Corporate (Corporate Air) SAAB 340B+ (WT) VH-VEP which looked to depart Brisbane during the morning for Charleville before it was noted arriving at Emerald Airport during the early afternoon.  VH-VEP then returned to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, earlier this week on Wednesday 15 November, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk was back in the Whitsundays campaigning for the election.  She arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Cairns on board on board The Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY.

As has been the case over the last couple of weeks, VH-SGY was joined by a pair of Super King Air turboprops – Easternwell Group Beech B300 Super King Air VH-EWQ and Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD – which also both arrived into Proserpine Airport from Cairns also on Wednesday 15 November.

All three aircraft later departed to Brisbane.
