Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 Again at Rockhampton Airport but as "Dragon 36"

After paying a visit the previous day, on Friday 3 November, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 was back in the skies above Rockhampton, flying up from RAAF Base Amberley as "Dragon 36".

It initially was 'forced' to complete a missed approach after Air Traffic Control (ATC) reported birds at the Airport potentially affecting its arrival.

After then completing a circuit, A39-004 landed at Rockhampton Airport for a short time before departing back to Amberley again as "Dragon 30".

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Scott H who was at the right place at the right time at Rockhampton Airport to capture some great photos as the KC-30 visited Rocky again!
