Brisbane-based Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 Bizjet VH-YWS Pops into Longreach Airport

Also on Saturday 11 July, Brisbane-based Cessna 525 CitationJet M2 bizjet VH-YWS was noted visiting Longreach Airport.  It arrived from its Archerfield base.

After taking on fuel, the sleek little bizjet then departed to The Granites, a large gold mine in the Tanami Desert in the Northern Territory.  VH-YWS then returned to Archerfield later in the evening.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 11 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-988 "Beaufort 07" also visited Longreach Airport.  It arrived from RAAF Base East Sale and Tamworth before later returning to East Sale but via RAAF Base Richmond.
