On Wednesday 29 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft A34-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Longreach Airport.
The Spartan was flying as "Wallaby 24" and appeared to fly down from Far North Queensland where it has been operating over the last few days. It then departed towards RAAF Base Amberley.
