After some time on the ground, VH-NEQ departed Mackay Airport for Brisbane and then Cessnock before it then headed to its Bankstown base.
It is unclear if it was completing a medical evacuation flight - it was heard to be using its registration marking as its radio callsign.
Meanwhile, also noted visiting Mackay Airport, also on Thursday 9 July, was Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 VH-TAZ. It looked to arrive from its Armidale base via the Gold Coast and later returned directly to Armidale.
