VH-ACC originally departed from Archerfield and flew down to Tamworth in New South Wales. It then was noted heading to Opal Creek but due to fog there they continued on to Brunette Downs. After some time on the ground, VH-ACC then flew down to Roma Airport before later departing to Babbiloora and then back to Roma Airport. VH-ACC then once again departed and popped into Opal Creek before finishing the day back at Roma Airport.
UPDATE! On Tuesday 7 July, VH-ACC departed Roma Airport for Opal Creek before then continuing to Archerfield. Later, it flew down to Tamworth before returning to spend the night at Roma Airport once again.
Meanwhile, a few light General Aviation (GA) movements were also noted around some CQ Airports, in particular Rockhampton Airport, also on Monday 6 July.
Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO popped into Rockhampton Airport. It arrived from Toowoomba and Archerfield and departed back directly to Toowoomba.
Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TQW arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast), Maryborough and Wanella Station Airports on what looked to be a closed Fly- in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.
UPDATE! VH-TQW remained parked at Rockhampton Airport until Wednesday 8 July when it returned to Hervey Bay Airport.
Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) / Qantas Group Pilot Academy Diamond DA-40 Star VH-YTU visited Rockhampton Airport from its Toowoomba-Wellcamp base. And sister-ship VH-YTR was noted visiting Gladstone Airport.
And Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208B Caravan VH-TFS was noted completing the daily Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight at Rockhampton Airport, arriving from and later departing back to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site.
Out West at Emerald Airport Wollongong-registered Cessna 208 Caravan skydiving aircraft VH-NMV was noted visiting for fuel. It arrived from Wollongong via Coffs Harbour and later departed to Cairns.
UPDATE! On Friday 10 July, VH-NMV was noted operating skydiving flights at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.
While finally, even further out West at Longreach Airport, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-988 "Beaufort 03" was noted arriving from RAAF Base East Sale and RAAF Base Richmond. It later departed directly back to East Sale.
