Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) / Qantas Group Pilot Academy Diamond DA-40 Star Training Aircraft VH-YTL & VH-YTZ Pop into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Sunday 24 July, a pair of Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) / Qantas Group Pilot Academy Diamond DA-40 Star training aircraft were noted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports while on a flight out of and back to their Toowoomba-Wellcamp base.

VH-YTL and VH-YTZ looked to fly up from Wellcamp to Rockhampton Airport before then flying down to Bundaberg Airport. Both then returned to Wellcamp.

UPDATE!  On Monday 25 July, fellow DA-40 Star VH-YTU flew the same route.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 24 July, Dino Air (Interair) Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-XGL arrived into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from its Melbourne (Essendon) base via Tamworth.

UPDATE!  On Monday 25 July, VH-XGL looked to complete an aerial survey flight in the area, flying out of and back to Hervey Bay Airport.

And Helicom AU P/L Bell 206L-4 helicopter VH-SHA looked to fly up from Brisbane to Gladstone and then Hamilton Island Airports.

Finally, in the wee small hours of Sunday 24 July, Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ visited Bundaberg Airport from Brisbane.

UPDATE!  After this post has been written, late on Sunday 24 July, VH-ILJ flew out to Longreach Airport from Brisbane. It then flew to Townsville and then back to Brisbane.
