Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) B737 / E-7A Wedgetail A30-004 "Wedgetail 02" Completes a Missed Approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport

On Monday 11 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004 was noted completing a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

It looked to fly up from RAAF Base Williamtown via a missed approach at the Sunshine Coast.

After completing the airwork at Hervey Bay, A30-004 flew down to land at RAAF Base Amberley.

Of interest, A30-004 was heard to be flying as "Wedgetail 02".

Meanwhile, also on Monday 11 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Beech B350 Super King Air A32-021 "Torch 32" was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport from Cairns.  It seems to be currently flying around North Queensland after arriving into Cairns during the middle part of last week.
