Crown Melbourne (Crown Hotels) Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS Bizjet VH-CCD Pops into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Friday 15 July, Crown Melbourne (Crown Hotels) Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS bizjet VH-CCD was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport.

The smart looking Global Express arrived from Melbourne (Tullamarine) and later looked to depart to Darwin.

While departing Hamilton Island Airport for Sydney was private American-registered Gulfstream Aerospace G650ER (G-VI) bizjet N988NC.  It had originally arrived from overseas on Saturday 9 July and positioned back to Hamo on Sunday 10 July from when it had been parked.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 15 July, Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ looked to visit Mackay Airport once again from Bankstown and Maitland. 

Mackay-based Piper PA-32R-301 Saratoga VH-LPW looked to fly into Mackay Airport from Clermont Aerodrome.

Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH of M. D. H. P/L (Cloncurry) was noted flying up from Archerfield to Clermont Aerodrome before then flying across to Devoncourt Station.  It had flown down via my local Clermont Aerodrome earlier in the week.

Cairns-based Cessna 206 VH-SQX was noted passing through Mackay and Bundaberg Airports while on a flight from Innisfail to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

UPDATE!  Over the course of Saturday 16 July and Sunday 17 July, VH-SQX continued from Hervey Bay Airport to visit Archerfield, Toowoomba, Goondiwindi, Dalby, Biloela / Thangool and Townsville Airports before then returning to Innisfail.

While Moorabbin Aviation Services (Victoria) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-VTQ departed Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport for Townsville.  It had arrived there from Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway Airport the previous day.

After arriving at the start of the week, Raytheon A36 Bonanza VH-YGM departed Rockhampton Airport for its Orange base.

And the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK popped into Rockhampton Airport, arriving from Brisbane and departing to Townsville and then Cairns.

Finally, also on Friday 15 July, a couple of helicopters noted flying around the region included RACQ LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIL which completed a training flight from Archerfield to Gladstone Airport via Toowoomba and Chinchilla Airports.

And Townsville-based Forster Helicopters Bell Helicopter Textron 407 helicopter VH-DKU departed Rockhampton Airport for Bundaberg Airport and then Redcliffe.  It has been operating around the region all week, flying between Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast), Bundaberg, Gladstone and Rockhampton Airports.
