Alliance Airlines Fokker 50 VH-FKY on FIFO - Plus Police Citation VH-PSU - at Gladstone Airport Thursday

Alliance Airlines Fokker 50 VH-FKY called in to Gladstone Airport late on Thursday 28 August from Brisbane as UTY650. It was operating the regular 9-day Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) rotation into the industrial city which incidentally, no longer appears to be operated by Nauru Airlines (formerly Our Airline).

VH-FKY was expected to depart back to Brisbane early on Friday 29 August as UTY651.

Meanwhile, earlier on Thursday 28 August, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU conducted a number of missed approaches as well as take-offs and landings at Gladstone Airport.

VH-PSU originally flew up from Brisbane, and after completing the airwork, it departed to Bundaberg and then Brisbane.
