Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-208 Missed Approach at Longreach Airport

There was a surprise for Longreach residents on Wednesday 6 August with Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-208 reportedly performing a missed approach at Longreach Airport.

The Globemaster - believed to be A41-208 - flying as "Stallion 30" - was certainly heard by a couple of correspondents with one reporting he was rudely awoken from his nap!

Meanwhile, over at Mackay Airport there were reports of a Australian Army Sikorsky S-70A-9 Blackhawk helicopter landing during Wednesday.
